To function correctly, Call & Chat Reminder accesses your Contact List and Phone Numbers. However, this data is never collected, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party.
Phone numbers are strictly used locally on your device to schedule and pre-fill messages.
Contact data never leaves your device and is not sent to any servers.
All selected phone numbers are stored securely in the app's encrypted local database.
🎙️ Voice Recordings
When you use the Call Reminder feature, the app records your voice to create a personal reminder message. This audio recording is handled with full privacy and security.
Voice recordings are stored locally on your device only inside the app's encrypted database
Recordings are encrypted using AES-256 encryption at rest
Audio is never transmitted, uploaded, or shared with anyone
Recordings are played back only on your device when a reminder is triggered
Deleting a reminder permanently deletes its associated voice recording
Since the app has no internet permission, it is technically impossible for your voice recordings to leave your device.
💾 Data Storage
All your data — reminders, contacts, messages, templates, and settings — is stored
locally on your device only. The data is encrypted using AES-256
encryption via Android Jetpack Security.
Data is stored in an encrypted local database (Room + SQLCipher)
No cloud backup — Android auto-backup is explicitly disabled
Data never leaves your device under any circumstance
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all stored data
🚫 Internet Permission
The INTERNET permission is explicitly removed from the app's Android Manifest
using tools:node="remove". This means:
The app cannot make any network requests — ever
No data can be transmitted to any server
No third-party service can be contacted
The app works fully offline, including in airplane mode
This is not just a promise — it's a technical impossibility. The Android operating system
itself blocks the app from accessing the internet.
📱 Permissions Used
The app requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function:
READ_CONTACTS — To let you pick contacts from your phone book. Contact data
is never copied or stored beyond your selection.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — To show reminder notifications at the scheduled time.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — To trigger reminders at the exact date and time you
set.
USE_BIOMETRIC — To protect the app with your fingerprint or face unlock.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — To restore your scheduled reminders after a phone
restart.
RECORD_AUDIO — To let you record voice reminders in your own voice. Audio
is stored locally and never shared.
